Thank you so much for joining me for another Makeup Video! Today I’m reviewing and live swatching the two shades of Lisa Eldridge Lipsticks I purchased from her “Summer Pinks” collection. I picked up Go Lightly, a semi-sheer salmon pink, and Skyscraper Rose, an intensely pigmented matte fuchsia. The packaging is really thoughtful from the Eldridge stirred up some serious hype for this shade prior to releasing her latest collection. Her video detailing how she acquired Audrey Hepburn’s lipstick case–and how she analyzed the lip color in the case–is a must-watch for Audrey Hepburn and vintage makeup lovers alike. The “Go Lightly” lipstick, named after Hepburn’s most famous character, Holly Golightly, perfectly. This full-coverage, matte lipstick is described as an opaque, vibrant red-orange and is fairly close to the “hot and fiery” Velvet Morning by Lisa Eldridge. Like Velvet Morning, Cactus Bloom is creamy and hydrating, thanks to its moisture-boosting ingredients cocoa butter, shea butter, and vitamin E. Additional antioxidants and fruit.
