I wanted to bring you some swatches, so you could get an up-close look at the new 8-shade Color Icon palettes from Wet 'n Wild! I found them last week at my local Walgreens for $4.99! Wet N Wild showed off the new "40 Palette," aptly named because of its 40 shades of shadow, via Twitter during RuPaul's DragCon, sharing that it would be available for purchase in "Fall 2019. Wet n Wild Kuromi Eyeshadow Palette is one of two new 16-pan eyeshadow palettes launching with the Wet n Wild My Melody & Kuromi x Wet n Wild Collection on July 21st. FINAL VERDICT: If you're a matte lover, there are some treasures to be had in the new Wet n Wild 5-pan palettes. Each palette contains at least one or, in most cases, two fantastic mattes that seriously rival higher-end matte shadows. If you're a shimmer lover, I don't think you'll find these new palettes to be at the same level as the old Wet.
